404 Error Message - No More!
If there is anything that I hate to face, it is the 404 error message. The other day I was online searching for some information. I had an important assignment to complete. I typed some keywords and the search bar tossed up thousands of websites. When I hurriedly clicked one of them, all I could see was a 404 error message. This message meant that the server did not have the URL Wondering whether I had made some mistake, I re-entered the information. The same 404 error message appeared. Surely I could not have blundered twice. Just to be sure, I clicked on the address bar for the third time. The same 404 error message flashed back.
Cursing my luck I proceeded to type some other address. Just then my computer crashed. I was at my wits end.
This was not the first time I was seeing the 404 error message. Yet I cannot fully comprehend what it means. But now I realize that I would be wasting time if I am entering the URL again and again. Advancing technology has produced amazing inventions. However, the server is yet to inform its users whether they have typed anything wrong or if they were wrong, how could it be rectified.
