File & Data Transfer Made Easy

Have you ever had to do a file transfer between computers? Of course you have. This can amount to something big or something really small. I send picture files from one computer to the other all the time. Although I do have my own notebook computer, I like to send photo files from it to my “home computer.” This is that desktop computer that every household has and anyone can use. Okay, so maybe not every household does this, but I’ve noticed it to be rather common. So, are you fairly competent when it comes to file transfer between computers? I would bet that you are. One easy way to go about this is by sending files through email. Attach whatever you like and send it in an electronic message.

If I actually stop to think about it, I use file transfer between computers everyday. I am always sending stuff from my Mac to my PC, and vice versa. And with my free hotmail account it’s a synch to accomplish. Probably the main files I deal with are screenplays. I can write a script on my Mac G4 Ibook, and then transfer it to the “home computer” to print out. This is easier for me since I do not have a printer connected to my Mac. Fortunately since I use the Final Draft software, I don’t have to worry about any of the formatting getting changed while doing a file transfer between computers. Pretty sweet huh. You’ve got to love that new-age advanced software.

It seems like most folks take advantage of file transfer between computers mostly with pictures. They are always snapping new shots with their digital cameras and sending them to one another. The only downfall with this file transfer between computers comes if you have a free email account. There is generally only so much space it will allow. However, this is to be expected if you acquired a free email service. I know that I did, and I do understand that there are millions more using it. And this my friend is why major companies pay for an email service to accomplish large file transfer between computers. It only makes sense. If you would like to understand this process further, then jump on the web and attain some new knowledge today. Soon file transfer between computers will be a breeze.
